The wildly popular Rolex 126710BLRO GMT “Pepsi” blue/red GMT-Master II has a suggested retail price of $14,400.00 CAD. If you’re looking for a better price in the secondary and used market, you’re in for a surprise. Asking prices for brand new or like-new examples have asking prices close to twice that of retail. It’s currently a crazy market for certain luxury watch models, far more demand than supply has some used watches selling for much more than new ones. The Tudor GMT 79830RB was once selling for more than retail on the secondary market but prices have eased quite a bit for these models. Our latest Tudor GMT is in original condition and was only lightly worn by a customer of Bill Le Boeuf Jewellers. The watch also comes with a decent quality generic “jubilee style” stainless steel bracelet complete with flip-lock and extension link. It fits the contour of the 41mm case perfectly, looking like it was delivered from the factory with the dressier jubilee style. It also comes with a nylon blue/red NATO and blue rubber strap with stainless steel tang buckles. The original Tudor brown leather strap and deployment buckle are in hardly worn excellent condition, complete with protective plastic sticker attached. The watch is in very good original condition showing small scuffs, light scratches and minor impact marks. The fine beveled edge on the lugs still retains their crisp edges. It has never been polished or refinished in any way. In addition to offering the basic 3 hand timekeeping function with a calendar, the GMT has a few tricks up its sleeve. The diamond-shaped tipped red hour hand can point to a second time zone shown in a 24-hour format displayed on the blue/red bezel. The traditional hour hand (local time) can be set independently of the 24-hour 2nd-time zone hand without disturbing the actual minutes and seconds. This handy feature is perfect for the world traveler when moving back and forth through different time zones. The rotating bezel can be turned to temporarily display a 3rd time zone. Daylight hours are shown in red and nighttime hours are in dark blue. The 41mm stainless case is water-tight to 100 meters, protected by a screw-down crown and case-back. Large hands and hour markers contribute to excellent legibility in any lighting condition courtesy of highly luminous pigment. The snowflake hands, aluminum bezel insert, connected minute track, and jubilee style bracelet give the Tudor GMT an attractive vintage appearance. IWC AquaTimer 3538 with extra strap/buckle 42mm titanium $5,610.00 CAD. 501-00217

We never grow tired of the magnificent watches that we temporarily foster until they find their forever homes. If an estate Rolex, Omega, or Cartier just seems a little too pedestrian and you desire something more exotic, how about an IWC Schaffhausen? Not only is it a fun name to say, but it is also one of the true great manufacturers. They are much more than just a well-marketed brand. From their 1868 inception in Schaffhausen Switzerland by American watchmaker Florentine Ariosto Jones, they developed an international reputation for manufacturing watches of the highest quality. Our newest estate watch is this titanium AquaTimer with an internal one-way rotating bezel. This feature was last seen in the original ICW AquaTimers from the 1960s and we’re happy to see its return. The slick system allows for timing events by setting the bezel with the 4:00 o’clock crown. There is no external ratchet system to get dirty and stiff and gives the watch an interesting slightly dressier look than a hardcore sports model. Make no mistake this is still a serious diver tool, with a water-resistant rating of 2000 meters! This 42 watch is in hardly worn condition and remains in completely original condition without ever being refinished. Despite its larger size the titanium case and bracelet keep the weight to a very manageable 132 grams (on bracelet). If you want an even lighter experience, the previous owner purchased the original rubber strap with a signed titanium buckle for $463.00 in July 2022. The large hands and markers with luminous treatment are easy to read in all lighting conditions. The movement inside the case is an IWC 21 jewel 30110 (base caliber ETA 2892-A2). This automatic winding mechanism has been powering some of the world’s most famous Swiss brands with accuracy and reliability for decades. Included with the watch are the original box, documents (missing warranty card), bracelet sizing/strap fitting tools, and strap purchase receipt from the IWC boutique at Yorkdale Toronto. If you’ve always wanted to get a luxury Swiss watch but didn’t want to jump into the deep end, get your feet wet with something like this Tag-Heuer Formula 1. Watches like this entry level Tag Heuer make great first steps into the world of high end Swiss timepieces. If the watch hobby is for you, these are welcomed back on trade for something like an Omega Seamaster, Rolex Submariner, Breitling SuperOcean, or anything else a little higher up the food chain. Formula 1 models have been around since the mid 1980s and have helped Tag Heuer become one of the most recognizable brands. This premium quality engagement/wedding ring set was crafted in Canada by award winning designer Noam Carver in Montreal. Bill Le Boeuf Jewellers is proud to be the exclusive agent for Noam Carver in the area. We sold this set to a long time customer of ours in 2018. She recently decided to reset her diamond into a yellow gold setting for a new look. We accepted the original set (model B022) on trade toward a new yellow gold set. Our large 2.10 carat estate old European cut estate diamond was looking for a home and just so happened to perfectly fit the Noam Caver original ring settings. A full description of this 150 year old diamond can be seen on our website here. These 18 karat white gold rings are still available from Noam Carver and come with a retail price of close to $7,000.00 CAD. They are in excellent condition, the only wear they are showing is the super white rhodium finish has mostly worn away. A fresh rhodium plating can easily be restored but we are waiting until the new owner confirms the size 6 set fits perfectly. Rhodium plating is this finishing touch for most white gold rings and is only done after alterations and adjustments have been completed. The rings contain 45 French set small round brilliant cut diamonds all secured using 4 tiny beads per stone for added security (no shared claws here). Each ring is individually serial numbered and comes with its lifetime warranty certificate. The 1.7mm wide rings fit together with puzzle piece accuracy thanks to the contoured wedding ring edge.
